On Church Witness

Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)My perspective about the Church is that its role is to bear witness to God and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and his subsequent resurrection. At times I take a critical look at parts of the tradition and church culture I am a part of, namely the evangelical protestant tradition.

Most of what I say will not be new, but it might be new to some.

Sometimes the observations will be based on previous education, perhaps some humor, but often it will be a way for me to articulate something that I might be frustrated about at the moment.
